2nd Annual Trunk or Treat!

posted Oct 6, 2017, 10:52 AM by Jennifer Perez

What is “Trunk or Treat?”

Trunk or Treat is an event that is sure to provide fun for all! Volunteers participate by parking, and decorating their cars (or trunks) in order to hand out goodies to the students.

How it Works

The students will start their parade of costumes at 1:00pm. Classrooms will be escorted along the route of decorated “Trunk or Treat” vehicles that will pass out candy and goodies.

How to Participate

·    Sign up for one of the 29 parking spaces by clicking on the Sign-Up Genius link at  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/409094fa4ad2aa0f94-trunk4

·    Please only sign up for yourself only!

·   Please arrive by 12:00pm in order to park and decorate your vehicle. All vehicles must be parked  and decorated by 12:45pm to ensure student safety- THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

·  Please park in one of the designated parking spots. If a vehicle is found to not be parked in a designated spot, you will be asked to move. (Our parking volunteers will assist you!)

Put on you creative thinking caps! Decorate in Halloween or Festive Fall themes using bats, pumpkins, spiders, not so scary stuff like Disney characters or movie themes. Dress up in your best costumes but PLEASE remember nothing too scary for our young students. As with the students, please NO MASKS or FACE MAKEUP. (All decorations and costumes MUST be appropriate for younger students).

If you sign up for a spot, please bring enough candy and or goodies to serve all 75 Plato Academy Trinity students! Thank you for your participation in our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat Event!!!

If you are unable to attend or secure a spot and would like to send in a bag of candy, please submit to the front office by Wednesday, October 26th.

* There are no known allergies at this time; however, we are requesting candy with NO PEANUTS.

Treat Suggestions: Nerds, laffy taffy, lollipops, pencils, stickers.

No Make-Up Days for Pasco County Schools

posted Sep 22, 2017, 7:09 AM by Jennifer Perez

Good Morning Plato Academy Trinity Families,

After receiving confirmation from the Florida commissioner of education that the state is forgiving the two days, Governor Rick Scott ordered all Florida schools closed for Hurricane Irma, Pasco County Schools leaders have determined that the other four hurricane days can be made up without cancelling planned days off. We will not have school any day during Thanksgiving week and no days will be added to the end of the school year.

If we have to cancel any additional school days this year, it is likely that the time will have to be made up by adding school days during Thanksgiving week or at the end of the school year.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

Dear Plato Academy Trinity Families,

Under the advisement of Pasco  County’s Emergency Management division, All Pasco County Schools will be CLOSED on Friday, September 8th due to weather. All students should not report to school and all staff should not report to work.

Again, all schools will be closed on Friday, September 8th to include before and after care programs.

Although the exact trajectory of the storm and impact on our region remains uncertain, our community’s preparedness and the safety of our employees and families are the priority. For this reason, schools and offices will be closed on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017.

We hope this closure will provide our community and employees the time needed to assist their families and prepare for the potential impact of Hurricane Irma.

Looking ahead: It is too early to determine the impact of Hurricane Irma on school operations for Monday, Sept. 11. District safety managers will continue to monitor the storm and an update will be provided on Saturday or Sunday.

The safety of all students, families and staff, is of the utmost importance and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you all and please be safe!
